Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all proposals, estimates, quotes, work orders, and invoices (“Proposals”) issued by Renova Home Services.
Scope of Work
Proposals include only the labor, materials, and services specifically described in the approved estimate. Any work not expressly listed is excluded and may require a separate estimate or written change order.
Estimate Validity
Estimates are valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
Changes to Work
Any changes, additions, or deviations from the original scope of work must be approved in writing prior to commencement. Approved changes may result in additional charges and/or schedule extensions. Verbal requests or approvals do not constitute authorization for additional work.
Concealed or Unforeseen Conditions
Estimates are based on visible and accessible conditions at the time of inspection. Renova Home Services is not responsible for concealed or unforeseen conditions, including but not limited to hidden water damage, mold, rot, structural deficiencies, electrical or plumbing issues, or code violations not visible prior to work beginning.
Discovery of such conditions may result in additional costs, revised scope, and/or schedule adjustments.
Payment Terms
Payment is due as outlined in the approved estimate or invoice. Deposits, if required, must be received before work is scheduled or materials are ordered. Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the agreed scope of work unless otherwise stated in writing.
Accepted forms of payment may include cash, check, ACH, or credit/debit card. Returned or declined payments may be subject to additional fees. Past-due balances may be subject to late fees or interest as allowed by law. Renova Home Services reserves the right to pause or discontinue work if payment is not current. Renova Home Services reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law for non-payment.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients may cancel or reschedule scheduled work by providing reasonable advance notice. Cancellations or rescheduling with insufficient notice may result in fees to cover reserved labor time, scheduling impacts, or materials already ordered.
Renova Home Services reserves the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, material delays, site readiness issues, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control. Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate any changes promptly.
Site Conditions & Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide reasonable access to the work area, including utilities, parking, and a safe working environment. Delays or additional costs resulting from site conditions that differ from those represented at the time of estimate are the responsibility of the client.
Pets, personal belongings, and valuables must be secured away from work areas prior to the start of work. While reasonable care will be taken, minor dust, noise, or disruption may occur as part of normal construction activities. Renova Home Services may document work progress for records or quality control purposes.
Permits & Code Compliance
Unless explicitly stated in writing, permit acquisition and code compliance upgrades are not included in this estimate. Renova Home Services does not provide engineering, architectural, or structural opinions. Any required permits, inspections, or compliance upgrades are the responsibility of the homeowner unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Nature of Repairs
Repairs are intended to address functional or cosmetic concerns only and do not constitute a structural evaluation, engineering assessment, or guarantee of future performance beyond the scope of work performed.
Materials & Finish Matching
Exact matching of existing materials, textures, colors, or finishes cannot be guaranteed due to age, wear, fading, availability, or discontinued products.
Warranty & Workmanship
Renova Home Services stands behind the quality of its workmanship. Any workmanship warranty applies solely to labor performed by Renova Home Services and does not cover manufacturer defects, normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or damage caused by others.
Warranty claims must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery. Repairs or corrective work performed by parties other than Renova Home Services may void any applicable workmanship warranty.
Liability & Insurance
Renova Home Services maintains appropriate insurance coverage as required by law. Renova Home Services is not responsible for damage to concealed or pre-existing conditions, including framing, wiring, plumbing, structural components, or materials not visible or known at the time of estimate.
Clients are responsible for maintaining their own homeowner’s or property insurance. Renova Home Services’ total liability shall be limited to the value of the work performed under the approved estimate.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Any disputes arising from services provided shall first be addressed through good-faith communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, with venue proper in the county where the work was performed.
Acceptance of Terms
Approval of any estimate, proposal, invoice, or work order — including approval through electronic means such as Jobber — constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full. These Terms & Conditions are publicly available and may be referenced or accepted through Renova Home Services’ customer management and invoicing platform.
